It's official! I have cut the facebook cord. I deactivated my profile, gave my kids a heads up that their own accounts were up for "search and seizure" at any given time, and removed that familiar blue f from my favorites tool bar. I honestly have no intention of going back. The only thing I will really miss is the ability to post these entries to facebook; I know a lot of my friends and family followed me that way. Oh well. I guess now we'll see if any of them liked me enough to track me down (and the answer there is probably not).
And like I often say, "That's that."

Still here too...after all you taught me something so important for my students who need my prayers: "Peace, peace, peace." You are an awesome blogger...the smart people will keep reading...and I'm not just trying to compliment myself, promise. ;)
I'm here, of course. I found out about you on Facebook, though. Which makes me wonder what I'll be missing. I really, really wish I didn't have 12 more days of knowing I COULD go back.
Yeah, I know... I keep thinking, "I could go back." Good grief. That thing (FB) was turning into such a headache, though. I just don't want to keep having to learn something new (as in how to navigate it) every other time I log on.
Why can't things just be SIMPLE? Maybe I jumped the gun. Who knows. I do know that I spend less time on the computer now and that has GOT to be a good thing no matter how you look at it.
Oh, the trials and tribulations of the twenty-first century. =)
